Registration and Payment
A one-time introductory class is available for $25. During this class, you will get a sense of Tibetan Tai-Chi by learning the Walk of the Tiger and observe the first move in the form.
Class fees are $95 per month which includes as many as 3 sessions per week. Beginners can attend the Tuesday 9:45 AM or 6:00 PM class and the Saturday 9 AM open practice session.
Instruction is individual, and progress through the 4 phases depends on your ability to learn and practice. You will be shown the next move in the sequence once you can do the previous moves on your own. It is better to do a few moves well than many poorly.
Tibetan Tai-Chi is a true long form with over 80 distinct moves with no repetitions (unlike the popular Yang style, which has been simplified to 14 moves/postures) and thus requires a serious commitment of time and effort to learn. Once you become proficient, you can learn 2 QiGong sets, a Tibetan martial arts kata, and several other exercises that constitute the Liu Siong System. Advanced students can learn 4 hand katas, a Sai kata, and 2 sword/bokken katas.
